Laurence Eyquem

At Laurence Eyquem's place in the Pyrénées you can go for week-long rides in the mountains and enjoy unrivalled scenery and wilderness. There are ten horses that are all equipped with ALLURES saddles, for your comfort and that of the horses!

The welcome of Laurence is that typical of the South of France - it doesn't get any friendlier!

Domaine de Beaureceuil

Sylvie Bordas runs this establishment which specialises in equestrian tourism in this outstanding region of ours - the Dordogne. Riding in this fairytale countryside where Medieval castles abound can but enchant, and to complete the picture you can dine and slumber in style at the Domaine. This place is especially dear to us because it was here that the idea of starting ALLURES was hatched, and also here where we had the privilege to ride for Sue Oliveira.

Haras de la Cense

The Haras de la Cense is "the" place for natural horsemanship in France. We feel very close to their philosophy. What they do is not magic. It is mostly logical and common sense, but unfortunately that does not necessarily mean that we all know how to do it automatically. How to saddle and equip your horse is a similar issue. It is all very logical but you probably cannot do it on your own. You need to be shown how it works. We also feel that our activities complement each other: There are limits to what La Cense can achieve - if the horse is still in pain because of badly fitting tack, his "bad behaviour" cannot be trained away. A visit to La Cense should almost be obligatory - check out their September event. You can bring and get help with your horse, or you can enroll in their educational programmes.

Haras de la gerillais

25 minutes from Rennes, the Hars de la Gérillais welcome you on a 14Ha domain. The Haras is both for owners and for competitors. We specialised in Dressage and breeding sport horses.

 Christelle Pernot

Many of our clients have horses that have been treated by Christelle and we have been both amazed and thrilled to see the improvements that she can bring about. If you do not live near Christelle, she will be able to direct you to a shiatsu specialist in your area. Shiatsu is more than massage - it's about looking at the whole horse and its environment. In this we feel very close to this method because even from the perspective of equipping the horse properly we wish to take the whole horse and its environment into account.

 Jean-Noël Mychalysin

Jean-Noël Mychalysin is a fabulous rider and trainer. He is one of he few people we know who has been criticised for actually presenting a horse too well. Most sympathetic with young horses, he is also a great people person and sure to give everybody increased confidence and abilities. Sending your horse there or taking lessons from him is sure to be a boost for your riding, whether you ride for pleasure or for competition.

 Pia Munch

Pia Munch at Scandinavian dressage can help you find the horse of your dreams. She offers a most professional service and will take you to Denmark to view Danish Warmbloods and it will be very hard to resist after such an experience. Pia also organises clinics and workshops and this is something we would like to see more of in France.

 Horse source

HorseSource are manufacturers of natural feed and bedding for every type of horse. Their range of fibre based feeds is formulated by their own nutritionists for slow release, sustained energy. We recommend the feeds as they are non heating, sugar free and designed to work in harmony with the horse’s digestive system.  It is what we feed our own horses. We use the Alfa, Alfa Gold, Complete Blue and Complete Green feeds.
