For decades, sailors have been exploring, discovering, approaching, passage-making, with… aluminium. Because a sandbar has shifted, the coral reef was uncharted, the wharf in Ushuaïa is unprotected, you will love the strength of your aluminum hull. It absorbs, it resists, with elegance and lightness, and will take you to the far side of the world, to live your dreams in complete safety.
Proven technologies & decisive innovations
Beyond the benefits of resistance, performance and aesthetics provided by a shaped aluminium hull, Allures Yachting has developed technologies for its yachts that are as essential as an all-round electrical circuit, as they are exclusive with a polyester deck that offers lightness, simplicity of fittings, insulation, and ease of maintenance. So many major assets at your disposal that you could go on cruising forever…
If aluminium is used in both the aeronautical and automobile industries, for the construction of lifeboats and the most efficient military vessels, it owes its use to a unique combination of properties that have made it very logically a very popular choice for long-distance cruising boats. What’s more, its “recyclability” is more significant than ever, but it is above all its lightness combined with its resistance that have made it so successful. Indeed, during a long blue water cruise, its ability to deform without breaking is an additional safety factor in the event of an encounter with a floating object or grounding, whether intentionally or otherwise.
Its natural resistance to corrosion is also exceptional, and it is only to preserve the perfect aesthetics of the shapes made by our master fabricators that they are varnished with epoxy. In addition, thanks to a flawless electrical installation and leak-detecting alarms in the event of modifications or accidents, your hull is perfectly under control, and is the best guarantee of a serene long-distance cruise for you and your family.
The choice of a composite deck
As for the deck, this isn’t made of aluminium, because it is not going to be subject to impact and only needs mechanical resistance at specific points. Made of polyester, it has the advantage of better insulating you from extreme temperatures, of not generating condensation, of allowing more flexibility for the positioning of the fittings, and of avoiding the maintenance of a deck paint, which is always tricky to keep immaculate on aluminium. This advantage, coupled with the infinite possibilities of shapes offered by the use of a mould, is the assurance that your Allures will retain her incomparable elegance throughout her long career.
