Sailboat construction – Quality and modern design

From its inception, the French sailboat builder Allures Yachting has innovated by redefining standards, particularly when it comes to the overall quality of our sailing yachts and the care taken in their construction and finish. A level of care previously unseen in the mass-produced blue water cruising boat category. This commitment to build quality stands as a constant for the shipyard team.

High-quality aluminium sailing yacht construction: State-of-the-art quality

Offering greater quality in all areas, at a price comparable to the rest of the market, has been the main driver of Allures Yachting’s success since the launch of the sailboat construction shipyard in 2003.

By bringing together Garcia Yachts and Alumarine Shipyard, specialists in aluminium construction, in 2010, followed by Griffon Marine joinery in 2016, and finally Shoreteam, an expert in composite materials, in 2018, the Grand Large Yachting group has given Allures Yachting a truly industrial dimension.

A dimension perfectly complementing the irreplaceable contribution of the design and production teams, whose savoir-faire is widely recognised beyond our borders.

Full 3D design to visualise and build the best monohull for your needs

We take great care to ensure the quality of our sailing yachts, and this is reflected in every detail, notably in our approach to 3D design. Using state-of-the-art software used in sectors such as the automotive and aerospace industries, our engineers work hard to design your yacht, so you can have the best blue water sailboat for your project (Atlantic crossing, circumnavigation, ocean cruising as a family or a couple, etc.).
We discuss the 3D model with you to incorporate your layout and equipment choices, ensuring that they will perfectly match your needs. Deck plan options are also examined in detail, ensuring an optimal end result.

Passion and excellence: our assets for optimal sailboat construction

This design and build work relies above all on passionate, demanding men and women who are highly qualified in their respective fields. At our assembly and finishing site in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin in Normandy, the precise organisation and motivation of our teams are palpable, adding a human dimension to the quality of our ocean crossing yachts – available as 40, 45 and 52-foot sailboats.

A visit to the yard will certainly assure you of that.

Equipment & materials: strong and durable aluminium sailboats

Our equipment is carefully selected and rigorously tested to meet the needs of blue water cruising. Being of marine-grade, everything is perfectly suited to intensive use. Our materials are both refined and durable, to meet the exacting needs of those sailing our boats.

Quality control during the whole manufacturing process

Finally, quality control is the common thread running through all our process. It is managed by a high-performance software that enables us to monitor every stage of our sailboat construction.

This means we can offer our customers complete traceability of the operations carried out and the equipment fitted to their sailing yacht. The control processes have been organised step by step from design to handover.

This allows our boats to be optimised down to the smallest detail, and our customers to benefit from enhanced performance and reliability on their new blue water sailboat.
