We presented it to you a few years ago on the virtual stand at Milan Yachting Week, Allures 51.9 is the flagship cruiser of the Grand Large Yachting group’s parent shipyard, the fourth largest French yacht builder. Over the years, the group has acquired several emblematic yachting brands (including Garcia Yachts, Outremer, Gunboat and RM) and developed them with great success. At the Düsseldorf boat show, accompanied by marketing manager Jérôme Guillou, we had the opportunity to visit Allures 51.9 and learn the secrets of this brand.

Functionality and hedonism according to Allures Yachting
The Allures Yachting shipyard has been building aluminum-hulled sailboats for over 20 years, but with a fiberglass deck and deckhouse, a feature that makes it unique. The objective is not only to reduce weight but also to have greater freedom in the design of the boat’s hull shape, without being limited by the rigidity of aluminum. According to the shipyard, the Allures are sailboats designed for long-distance sailing in tropical latitudes, for sailors looking for pleasure for the sake of pleasure. On the other hand, the Garcias, one of the brands acquired over the years by the Grand Large Yachting group, are entirely aluminum boats. The Garcia boats are mainly intended for exploration of extreme latitudes, equipped with a layer of polyethylene foam that provides important thermal insulation (optional on the Allures) and double-glazed windows.
The flagship of the brand
Allures 51.9, the largest boat of the shipyard, is designed by Berret-Racoupeau, like its little brother the 45.9. Until a few years ago, a 40.9 was also sold, but production was stopped. The 51.9 has been in production for 2 years and the boat exhibited at the Düsseldorf boat show has the hull number 4 but the order list is up to 11 units, so if you order now, the first availability is for November 2025.
