From raw aluminum to dreamed sailboat
It is hard to imagine that these aluminium sheets, even though they are precisely laser-cut and carefully stacked on pallets, will become a magnificent long-distance sailboat, a cocoon of comfort and safety. Follow the guide throughout this magical transformation, which you never really get used to.
Preparation
As you will be able to read in the Client Road Book that we give you in the days following your order, several steps, several key dates in the decisions to be taken for a compliant and on-time delivery, will mark the manufacturing period of your boat. Even if you are living on the other side of the world while waiting to put to sea, from the first welded aluminium sheets to the first technical seatrials, you will be able to follow the birth of your yacht remotely, from your online owner space, through very regular photo and video reports.

Construction
First of all, it is the hull that you will see taking shape before your eyes. “In shape” is the technical term for perfecting the curves of your future boat, the result of the unique manual know-how that our teams of exquisite craftsmen have been perpetuating for decades. Once the hull is transported to our Cherbourg site, it is sanded and then varnished with epoxy so that time never can never alter its proud lines. It is then up to the system technicians to take over this raw aluminium vessel: kilometres of cables, pipes, pumps, an engine… all take their place. It’s time to open your eyes and save the photos before the woodworkers take over and assemble the furniture with millimetre precision in the shade you have chosen. Everything will be protected to ensure it stays immaculate, and the infused polyester sandwich deck, already largely equipped, will then come to masked up until the day of delivery, which for months, years will be your home on the water.
Personalised support
Once your yacht has been launched, checked and tested by our preparation team, we will be happy to welcome you for a short week in our waters. In actual fact, we’re not inviting you to a simple, even if necessary, administrative delivery and handing you the keys, but to a real and complete handover. On the programme, five half-days of training, not only under sail, but on the specifics of your boat. Handling your boat at sea and in port, operation of equipment, energy, electronics, each area will be presented to you in detail by our teams, so that you can put to sea with perfect knowledge of your boat. If you feel the need for more time to take ownership, would like additional training, or benefit from a longer period of time with the advice of a professional skipper in order to gain confidence, we are perfectly capable of offering you these different types of support. Do not hesitate to contact us as early as possible in the delivery process.
Permanently on-going follow-up
When you have cast off, and wherever you are on the globe, we stay in touch and ensure a longitudinal follow-up of your boat. Thanks to the original 3D drawing of your yacht, the integration of all your options and customisations under the same software, the systematic use of our ERP for all our supplier orders, the dedication and skill of the Allures Yachting teams, our worldwide network of technical partners and service points, we are able to answer you and serve you as soon as possible, wherever you are, for any information you need, repair, maintenance, warranty…
