OnHorizon 47, the cockpit is designed as an enveloping and protective space when sailing. It combines dedicated, ergonomic, and secure maneuvering stations, a protected watch area under the hardtop, and reinforced protection with 16-inch-high bulwarks topped by a 12-inch-high rail, creating a real cocoon for the crew at sea.

The Horizon Frame Concept™ is the signature feature of this new monohull . It is based on three key elements:
• lowered side-decks, level with the cockpit, for smooth and intuitive movement, without obstacles at sea or at anchor.
• A 40 cm bulwark surrounding the boat, offering increased protection and a greater sense of security.
• A glass opening in the bulwark at the saloon level, for more natural light and a panoramic view the sea and its surroundings.

Not necessarily. Thanks to optimized structural design and the combination of an aluminum hull with a composite deck, Allures sailboats offer an excellent weight-to-performance ratio. This architecture allows them to achieve performance levels comparable to those of many blue water cruising sailboats, while retaining the advantages of aluminum in terms of strength and durability.

Construction site and building

The ductility of aluminum is an advantage when dealing with unexpected impacts at sea, whether from floating objects, minor groundings, or rarer situations that have been widely reported in recent years, such as certain interactions with killer whales. In these cases, the hull's ability to deform without breaking helps to limit structural damage. A composite hull, on the other hand, can crack or delaminate suddenly.

Construction site and building

Allures sailboats are manufactured in France via an integrated production chain, managed by the Grand Large Yachting group. Each stage is carried out at specialized sites, guaranteeing quality and performance:
• Mondeville, Condé-en-Normandie, Couëron: manufacture of aluminum hulls at our integrated metalworking sites.
•        Griffon Marine: carpentry workshop integrated into the group, specializing in nautical fittings, based in Vendée.
• Cherbourg: final assembly site.
This organization enables Allures to offer reliable, well-designed sailboats that are adapted to the demands of blue water cruising.
