Rallye des Îles du Soleil 2026 : Two Allures Set Sail for the Caribbean
An Allures 51.9 and an Allures 45.9 are preparing to cross the Atlantic in the 2026 Rallye des Îles du Soleil. Departing from Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands on October 30, they will sail to Marie-Galante, Guadeloupe, with a stop in Cape Verde along the way. An offshore adventure built around shared experiences, new connections, and the joy of discovery.

Crossing the Atlantic, sharing the adventure
Some departures mark the beginning of something extraordinary. Leaving the Canary Islands for the Caribbean, watching land disappear over the horizon, and settling into the rhythm of life at sea: an Atlantic crossing holds a special place in a sailor’s life.
The Rallye des Îles du Soleil adds a sense of community to that experience. Sailing as part of a rally brings crews together to share preparations, reconnect at each stop, and build friendships along the way. Each crew makes the crossing aboard its own boat, at its own pace, while remaining part of a shared adventure.
Pre-departure briefings, safety inspections, satellite tracking, and technical support at each stop help crews prepare for the passage and make the most of their time at sea.
Allures 51.9 and Allures 45.9 at the start
This year, two sailboats will represent the shipyard in the fleet: Mavokely, a Allures 51.9 and Alter Ego, a Allures 45.9. Two boats, two crews, and one shared destination: the Caribbean.
Their participation reflects what our sailboats are designed for: helping owners turn their bluewater cruising dreams into reality. A cruising sailboat is both a vessel for exploring the world and a home for weeks at sea.
For the crews aboard these two Allures yachts, the coming weeks will revolve around life offshore: standing watch, trimming sails, preparing meals, and savoring those moments when the boat sails on, surrounded by open ocean.

From the Canary Islands to Marie-Galante, via Cape Verde
This year’s rally follows a two-leg route covering approximately 3,030 nautical miles.
On October 30, the fleet will depart from Marina Jandia, at the southern end of Fuerteventura, bound for Mindelo on the island of São Vicente in Cape Verde. This first leg covers approximately 900 nautical miles.
The stop in Mindelo will give crews time to reconnect with fellow sailors, explore the island, and prepare for the Atlantic passage ahead. On November 11, they will set sail for Marie-Galante, approximately 2,130 nautical miles away.
The boats are expected to arrive in Saint-Louis Bay, Marie-Galante, November 23–27, depending on conditions and each boat’s progress. After days at sea, crews will reunite ashore and share their first stories of the crossing.

Across the Atlantic, a Caribbean Adventure Awaits
Arriving in Marie-Galante will mark the end of the Atlantic crossing and the beginning of new adventures. For crews looking to keep exploring, the island is a gateway to the islands of Guadeloupe and the wider Caribbean.
Everyone at Allures Yachting wishes the crews aboard the Allures 51.9 and Allures 45.9 a wonderful crossing. May the voyage bring rewarding days under sail, lasting friendships, and the joy of seeing their cruising dreams become reality, nautical mile after nautical mile.
