Over the years, the group has acquired several iconic yachting brands (including Garcia Yachts, Outremer, Gunboat, and RM) and developed them with great success.

At the Düsseldorf trade show, accompanied by marketing manager Jérôme Guillou, we had the opportunity to visit Allures 51.9 learn the secrets of this brand.

Functionality and hedonism according to Allures Yachting

For over 20 years, Allures Yachting sailboats with aluminium hull with fiberglass decks and cabins, a feature that makes them unique. The goal is not only to reduce weight but also to have greater freedom in designing the shape of the boat's hull, without being limited by the rigidity of aluminum.

According to the shipyard, Allures are sailboats designed for long-distance sailing in tropical latitudes, for sailors seeking pleasure for pleasure's sake.

On the other hand, Garcia boats, one of the brands acquired over the years by the Grand Large Yachting group, are made entirely of aluminum. Garcia boats are mainly designed for exploring extreme latitudes and are equipped with a layer of polyethylene foam that provides significant thermal insulation (optional on Allure models) and double-glazed windows.

Allures 51.9, the shipyard's largest boat, was designed by Berret-Racoupeau, as was its little brother, the 45.9.

‍

Until a few years ago, a 40.9 was also sold, but production has been discontinued. The 51.9 has been in production for two years and the boat on display at the Düsseldorf Boat Show has hull number 4, but the order list has grown to 11 units, so if you order now, the first availability is for November 2025.
