"Promotion 2026": Allures Horizon 47 by Yachting World as one of the five most eagerly awaited long-distance sailing yachts

A few months after its presentation in 3D images at the Cannes boat show, the Horizon 47 a decisive phase of its construction. Work has begun on building the hull of the very first model.

Allures Yachting the resumption of sales of the Allures 40.9, its 40-foot sailboat that has become a benchmark blue water cruising . Acclaimed for its balance between volume, maneuverability, and safety, this model is once again available in response to continued strong demand.

After covering over 6,000 miles, the Grand Large Yachting Nordic Odyssey 2024 rallie came to an end last September on the island of Groix. A final convivial evening to bring things full circle... and already, desires for distant horizons are resurfacing.

For this new and 13th edition, the blue water cruising seminar, organized by the Grand Large Yachting group, will take place on January 31 and February 1, 2026 in Paris, in the magnificent setting of the Thalassa barge. Experts, trainers and frequent cruisers will take turns to help you see things more clearly and start building your cruising project.

On January 29 in Fort Lauderdale, Harry ANDERSON completed a remarkable solo circumnavigation of the globe on his Allures 40.9! And with this personal feat, he becomes the first person in history to have both flown and sailed solo to all 7 continents.

On July 2, 2024, at the Petit Minou lighthouse, a small group of people watch the boats as they enter Brest harbor. At last, FOU DE BASSAN passes before their eyes. They're proud: their parents have just completed a circumnavigation! ‍Eight days earlier, they left Ponta Delgada, on the Azorean island of Sao Miguel, accompanied by one of their daughters. After so many places visited during this great loop, the archipelago will remain one of their favorites.

A lot of people were on the road to the West Indies this winter, with the ARC+ and Route des îles du soleil rallies . And within these fleets, or rather at the front of these fleets, the Allures 45.9 impressed with their average speeds, leaving behind models with a more sporting reputation!

Last January, participants in the Grand Large Yachting World Odyssey stopped off in St. Helena. After nearly 20 days at sea from the Galapagos, the yachts taking part in the Grand Large Yachting World Odyssey 500 reached the Marquesas, one of the most eagerly awaited stopovers. The crews sailed, mostly under downwind sail, almost 4,000 miles to the Marquesas Islands, one of the least-visited areas on the blue planet.

A few days after crossing the Panama Canal, rallie Grand Large Yachting World Odyssey 500 made a popular stopover in the Galapagos Islands. This archipelago, renowned for its biodiversity, appealed to crews keen on both natural spaces and cultural discoveries.
