The Allures 51.9 #1 and #2, neighbors at the Allures Yachting yard

On January 29 in Fort Lauderdale, Harry ANDERSON completed a remarkable solo circumnavigation of the globe on his Allures 40.9! And with this personal feat, he becomes the first person in history to have both flown and sailed solo across 7 continents.

On July 2, 2024, at the Petit Minou lighthouse, a small group of people watch the boats as they enter Brest harbor. At last, FOU DE BASSAN passes before their eyes. They're proud: their parents have just completed a circumnavigation! ‍Eight days earlier, they left Ponta Delgada, on the Azorean island of Sao Miguel, accompanied by one of their daughters. After so many places visited during this great loop, the archipelago will remain one of their favorites.

A lot of people were on the road to the West Indies this winter, with the ARC+ and Route des îles du soleil rallies . And within these fleets, or rather at the front of these fleets, the Allures 45.9 impressed with their average speeds, leaving behind models with a more sporting reputation!

Last January, participants in the Grand Large Yachting World Odyssey stopped off in St. Helena. This was an opportunity to (re)discover this British island in the South Atlantic, isolated to say the least, and known mainly for its history... An atypical stopover to consider when sailing up the Atlantic from the Cape of Good Hope.

After nearly 20 days at sea from the Galapagos, the yachts taking part in the Grand Large Yachting World Odyssey 500 reached the Marquesas, one of the most eagerly awaited stopovers. The crews sailed, mostly under downwind sail, almost 4,000 miles to the Marquesas Islands, one of the least-visited areas on the blue planet.

A few days after crossing the Panama Canal, rallie Grand Large Yachting World Odyssey 500 made a popular stopover in the Galapagos Islands. This archipelago, renowned for its biodiversity, appealed to crews keen on both natural spaces and cultural discoveries.
